Al Bastakiya

This is one of the most recommendedtourist attractions in Dubai located along the Dubai creek and gives you the feel of the history of the city. The old houses, made of stone, teak, gypsum, palm wood, and sandalwood, in Bastakiya have been preservedas the last surviving examples of Dubai's past. Sunni Iranian merchants, who moved to Dubai in the late 1890s, are thought to have built the structures. Visitors to Al Bastakiya will find a variety of interesting attractions in the area—the Architectural Heritage Society, Majlis Gallery, the Coffee Museum, Shaikh Muhammad Center for Cultural Understanding (SMCCU), Mawaheb gallery, etc.

Dubai Museum

This museum is housed within the Al Fahidi Fort and it has some fascinating displays of historical significance.The fort, which was originally constructed in 1787, served as the royal house, arsenal, and prison until it was restored under the reign of Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum.It was reopened as Dubai Museum in 1971, the year that UAE was established. The Museum gives us a taste of everyday life in the UAE prior to the discovery of oil.

Souks

You can take a short boat ride from the old town to Deira, which has some of the most spectacular souks in continuance of the trading past of Dubai. For years traders docked by the banks carrying coffee, spices, and gold from around the world. Nothing has changed today, and the creek is bustling with yachts and Arabian dhows navigating together. The Gold Souk located here is a must see on a visit to Dubai. Browse the bustling and glistening souk for some amazing jewellery pieces. Explore the Spice Souk for some aromatic herbs and spices and exotic selection of nuts, oils and saffron.

The Dubai Frame

The unique Dubai Frame is 150 metres high, 93 metres wide, and frames two sides of the city. To the north, the city's historic area can be seen, while to the south, the city's modern skyline can be viewed.At the Sky-deck, you can cross a transparent glass bridge, the floor of which is made of liquid crystal and becomes clear when someone steps on it.You'll feel like you're walking on air! Jumeirah

Jumeirah, one of Dubai's most affluent locales, is a must see with its pristine beaches, elegant cafes, the enigmatic Atlantis-The Palm, the mind-blowing Burj Al Arab in the shape of a sail, the Jumeirah beach and the Jumeirah Mosque. The Walk at (Jumeirah Beach Residence) is a bustling beachside boulevard with attractive stalls selling fascinating stuff and cool cafes all over.Dubai Marina is across the JBR and has some of the most impressive buildings adorning the skyline. The seven-kilometre, pedestrian walkway running along the harbour has some coffee shops, restaurants and a mall. Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Mall

The world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, is an architectural wonder, which can be seen in its engineering prowess. Dubai Parks and Resorts

Waterparks

Dubai has some famous and fun waterparks that you must try if you are visiting during the summers. Aquaventure in the Atlantis–The Palm resort, is one of the most popular waterparks in Dubai. It has some of the most thrilling and fun rides and slides for kids and adults. The Wild Wadi Waterpark has been a favourite among locals and visitors alike since 1999.Arabian folklore character Juha serves as the inspiration for the park's rides and attractions. The Legoland Waterpark is great for 2 to 12 year olds. They can slide, splash, race and build at the waterpark.

Miracle Garden

Visitors flock to Dubai's Miracle Garden each year to see its unique 2D and 3D floral designs. The garden has won several awards, like the Guinness World Record for the floral depiction of an Airbus A380 superjumbo plane. Dubai Dolphinarium

The Dolphinarium showcases Dolphins as they perform and interact with you. It's no wonder they're so fascinating: they juggle, jump, play, and interact. The Mirror Maze is another big attraction here, as you challenge yourself to find your way out of the bewildering maze of mirrors. Dubai Dubai Garden Glow

The park has a unqiue theme with dazzling installations that glow in the dark. It is a five-sectioned park and offers people of all ages something to be fascinated about. In an effort to raise awareness about global warming and carbon footprints, the garden uses energy-efficient bulbs and recycled materials throughout. The installations include the famous floating aquatic installation, the Jurassic Era in the dinosaur zone and other art focussed models.
